My Mr. Miyagi

If you weren’t following the conversation that Adam King and I had in the latest episode, I told everyone the story of my own ‘Mr. Miyagi’.  Well, totally by chance, we started talking over Facebook again this week.  Turns out the guy has a HUGE 40’x60’ woodworking shop at home.  It looks like it’s a big detached building that also houses some farm equipment, but still!

Turns out he’s been a woodworker for some time, and he’s probably much more proficient than I am.  Due to his many deployments, he is only able to do light woodworking a few times per year.  Still, I wish I had his shop!

Your response should be the emoticon where the smilies are holding signs that say “This thread is worthless without pics”

    • Wow! Read while in a bad mood, this could be taken very badly…

The thing is, at least when I was in, it was taboo to circulate pictures of yourself if you were active in the Special Forces. My friend is. His picture of his shop also shows him and his son. There’s no way I’m publishing that picture here.

      Sorry.

That’s awesome! I’m glad you two made contact again. Maybe he’ll invite you out there and you can film some in his shop? (Minus his presence for the sake of national security, of course.)
